Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Senior A Team qualification for 2006-07 is based on:
- Top 4 placements in all Eastern Challenge Qualifying Events
- Junior Nationals entrants in all events
- Canadians Entrants in all disciplines
- Skaters who were on the Senior A Team in the year prior who have moved to a higher category and competed at Sectionals in the subsequent season and do not qualify for Eastern Challenge (e.g. Juvenile Champion 2002 Sectionals moves to Pre Novice for 2003 sectionals and finishes 5th or lower)
