Registration Activities - Quick Reference
For every registration you will need to enter at least one activity to indicate the main area of participation for the member. The options are as follows
Primary Activities
| Activity | Title | Description |
| 1 | CanSkate | For all members who are registered in the CanSkate learn-to- skate program, including adults. |
| 2 | STARSkate | For all members, including adults, who are primarily involved in the STARSkate program and may compete in non-qualifying competitions such as invitational events, regionals, provincials, or interclub. |
| 3 | Competitive Skate | For all members, including adults, who compete in national qualifying events such as Sectionals, Eastern or Western Challenge events and/or Canadians/Junior Nationals. |
| 4 | Synchronized Skater | For all members, including adults, who are active in a synchronized skating program |
| 5 | CanPowerSkater | For all members, including adults, who are active in the CanPowerSkate program or who are participating in the Pre-Power program offered on a CanSkate session |
| 6 | Official* | For all members who are a Skate Canada Evaluator, Judge, Referee and/or Accountant. In order to officiate in a Skate Canada test day or competition, the memberÕs primary activity must be Official. |
| 7 | Executive/ Committee | For those members who are currently serving on the club executive, or a committee or as a Skate Canada delegate |
| 8 | Other | For adult members who do not participate in any Skate Canada skating programs i.e.: Club volunteers |
*Officials must register through a Skate Canada Club. The Officials Code of Ethics must be signed and forwarded to the Association directly. Members who are in training to be an official are not permitted to register in this category until they have obtained the first level of certification.
Secondary Activities
Add a secondary activity for the following members. The primary activity should be between 1 and 5, as above.

| 77 | Adult Skater | For adult members who participate in a skating program at your club. |
| 88 | Special Needs | For members with a mental or physical disability who participates in a Skate Canada skating program |
| 99 | Restricted Member | For members who are paid employees of either a club, the Section or the Association; a non-active coach; a performing professional or a professional dance partner. A restricted member is not permitted to hold office, vote at meetings, compete in competitions, officiate at tests or competitions. |
In order to officiate in a Skate Canada test day or competition, the OfficialÕs primary activity must be a 6 (Official).
