Craig Buntin & Meagan Duhamel

Craig Buntin and Meagan Duhamel teamed up in 2007, following successful careers with other partners, and in Meagan's case in singles. They met with immediate success, with a silver medal at the Nebelhorn Trophy, 6th at Skate Canada International, and a bronze medal at Canadians. they qulaified for worlds, where they finished 6th.

Meagan Duhamel and former partner Ryan Arnold were the first skaters to perform a side-by-side triple Lutz in competition, which they did at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in 2005. They ended their partnership in March 2006. She competed in singles at the 2007 Canadian Figure Skating Championships and placed sixth.

With partner Chantal Poirier, Craig Buntin was the 2000 Canadian junior national champion. He teamed up with Valerie Marcoux to form a succesful team that won three senior national championships (2004-2006). They competed at 4 World championships finishing as high as 5th and were 11th at the 2006 Olympics. Shortly after the 2006/2007 season ended, Valerie announced her retirement from competitive figure skating, thus ending the partnership.

Craig and Meagan will be looking to build on their 2007-08 success this seasn and will be challenging the top pairs in Canada with their strong skating skills and obvious chemistry. Skate Canada have assigned them to two Grand Prix events this season - Skate America and Trophee Eric Bompard.
