World and Olympic Figure Skating Champions KURT BROWNING, JAMIE SALE and DAVID PELLETIER, and JEFF BUTTLE are performing in St. John's
Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador and STEELE COMMUNICATIONS are thrilled to announce that an exciting, fun-filled figure skating show is coming to the province featuring World and Olympic champions Kurt Browning, Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, Jeff Buttle and other Canadian Champions at Mile One Centre, St. John's on Saturday, September 20, 2008.
STEELE COMMUNICATIONS EVENING OF CHAMPIONS brings together a world renowned cast of Olympic, World, National and Provincial Champions for an exhilarating evening of figure skating including:
- Kurt Browning, 4 Time World Mens Champion and 3 time Olympian
- Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, 2002 Olympic Pair Champions and World Champions
- Jeff Buttle, 2008 World Mens Champion 3 Olympic medalist
- Jessica Dube and Bryce Davison, 2008 World Bronze Pair Medalists and 2006 Olympians
- Joannie Rochette, 4 Time Canadian Ladies Champion and 2006 Olympian
- Cynthia Phaneuf, Canadian Champion
- Meagan Duhamel and Craig Buntin, 2008 Canadian Bronze medalists and World Competitors

STEELE COMMUNICATIONS EVENING OF CHAMPIONS will also feature Newfoundland and Labrador's top competitive skaters including Ashley Bishop, the province's Juvenile Ladies Champion, Julia Mercer, the province's Pre Novice Ladies Champion, Yvonne Chan, the province's Novice Ladies Silver Medalist, Alex White, the province's Pre Novice Men's Silver Medalist and the province's Synchronized Skating Junior Champions, Synergy.
STEELE COMMUNICATIONS Evening of Champions will be hosted by Kurt Browning and will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 20. Bowl seating is $39.50 plus HST (surcharge may apply) and on ice seating is $49.50 plus HST (surcharge may apply). The STEELE COMMUNICATIONS EVENING OF CHAMPIONS is a fundraising event for Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador, the provincial governing body for figure skating in the province, with ALL proceeds going to support the development of recreation and competitive skating programs for Newfoundland and Labrador skaters and provide training bursaries to provincial skaters through the Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Athlete Assistance Fund.
Unfortunately an injury to Anabelle Langlois means that she and partner Cody Hay have had to withdraw but we are very fortunate to have Meagan Duhamel and Craig Buntin, 2008 Canadian bronze medalists, accept an invitation to replace them. We wish Anabelle a speedy recovery.
