  • 1982-83 – vice president club
  • 1983-87 – president: resigned due to ill health in April 1987 but continued to serve as past president until death Sept. 87
    • 2nd voting delegate for region
    • played music several times a week
    • present at all pre-skate, Canskate, Canfigureskate sessions
    • constantly organized fundraising
    • played active part in test days

directed 3 of 4 summer schools

  • 1985 – nominated for CFSA volunteer award
  • 1986 – finalist City of Corner Brook¹s executive of the year for work with Silver Blades
  • 1987 – first Newfoundland Centrum achievement award recipient (awarded posthumously at Sectionals 1987)  award for most deserving individual
