• 1975  became involved as a parent of a pre-beginner
• 1976-77 – club treasurer
• 1977-1994 – club president ( one year  1990 past president)
• 1978-85 – CFSA judge  2nd figure
• 1984-85 – secretary/treasurer for Western Region
• 1985 – chair for Nfld Precision Championships held in Deer Lake
• 1988 - Centrum Volunteer winner  plaque plus $300 for the club
• 1994 - Club Volunteer Award

• supervisory coach for NST and Canskate Programs
• perennial fundraiser
• continued for many years after her daughter finished with skating
• it is her ‘relaxation’
• broken leg in 1985 seriously curtailed “on ice” but did not slow her down activity despite months in a cast and several surgeries over next 3 years
• increased ice time for 4 hours/week to 12 hours
• involved in introducing private lessons to skaters and helped obtain a professional coach for the first time
