Member St. John’s Figure Skating Club

-began to skate at the age of 9 and continued until 1979. Attained 6th figure, Senior Bronze Freeskate and Gold Dances.

-Amateur coach, dance partner, competed provincially, skated in first ice show in St. Pierre, member of an adult precision team

-Judge more than 20 years -triple gold single panel judge, senior competitive single panel, pre-novice pairs, senior dance, and junior precision judge

-Accountant since 1978

-Trained by CFSA to train clinic conductors

-Our only intermediate and senior Dance Clinic Conductor / responsible to retrain intermediate and senior evaluators

-Club level – involved in organizing of amateur coaches, music ,costumes for ice show – Club President – executive co-ordinator

-It is very difficult to write about Tina’s involvement of skating in Newfoundland and Labrador. Even harder to condense it! Until her retirement in late 90’s she was present everywhere. Her commitment and. dedication to all aspects of skating is unparalleled. Being married with three children did not slow down her enthusiasm for the sport.
