Club Involvement

• - 1976 – founding member of Mount Pearl Club
• - NST chairman
• - 1978-1985 - president
• - ice show chair -designed and painted numerous theme backdrops
• - amateur coach – 6 years
• - committee member that took Mount Pearl Precision Team to their first national championships in Laval, PQ
• - adult precision team member
• - founding member of Frosty Festival and represented Figures Skating for 8 years
• - designed the Mount Pearl FSC crest still in use today
• - through leadership and interpersonal relations helped the club form AND maintain an excellent liaison with the Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association and arena staff

Section Involvement

• - 1986 – 1995 – Section Chairman and so a member of the National Board
• - 1982 – 83 – competition chairman for Provincials and so on Section board of Directors
• - 1983 – Newfoundland & Labrador Section Volunteer of the Year
• - 1987 – Chairperson of the Newfoundland Segment of the Canadian world Figure Skating Team Tour
• - encouraged all skating members to attend the National AGM’s for exposure to the Skating world
• - during her tenure as Chair the Section was brought out of a deficit position into a strong and healthy association
