STARSkate Nationals

In an amazing final day of skating, Stephanie Nevin won gold in gold triathlon, Olivia Drover-Martin won a silver medal in bronze triathlon and Francince Harris won bronze in silver triathlon at the Homesense National STARSkate Championship in New Brunswick. Stephanie moved up from 5th place with an excellent freeskate and became champion with a total of 104.96. Olivia followed 26.20 in skills with 29.73 in interpretive and a good freeskate gave her a combined provincial record score of 80.02. Francine Harris won the interpretive leg with a score of 40.57, placed 2nd place in skills with a score of 32.64 and overall scored 98.50, another provincial record. At the conclusion of the competition, Stephanie was awarded a HomeSense Personal Best Award and Olivia won a HomeSense STARSkate Giftcard that was drawn from amongst all entrants.
