The results for the CBS Autumn Skate held Sunday, November 22 are now online [...] Joey Russell competed at the 2009 HomeSense Skate Canada International in Kitchener, Ontario – his first Grand Prix assignment. His total of 168.71 was a personal best in international competition and was placed 10th. Joey was first to skate in the men’s short programme and had an excellent performance, placing 9th. A good attempt at [...] Following Sectionals, based on revised selection criteria, skaters were named to the Senior A and B Provincial teams. Selection Criteria - A team - B team Pairs torch lift! Ashley Bishop and Miranda Walsh of Mount Pearl SC, Matthew Young of Silver Blades, and Danielle Drover of Port aux Basques FSC were Olympic torch bearers as the torch passed through the province. Minor revisions have been made to the technical package, clarifying eligibilities for synchronized skating, Regionals, Provincials and Winter Games. All clubs and officials should ensure they are using the current version. At the 2010 BMO Financial Group Sectionals hosted by the Conception Bay North FSC. Julia Mercer won the BMO Financial Group Merit award for the 2nd consecutive year, and Ashley Morgan won the Polaris Artistic Cup. Full Results now on-line.
