The award winners Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador held a very successful Annual General Meeting and Awards Banquet this Friday and Saturday at the Battery Hotel, St. John’s. The event was attended by over 100 delegates representing most of the clubs in the province. Starlites Open Twenty-eight teams were in Corner Brook this weekend competing in the 2012 Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Synchronized Skating Championships. This represented the largest entry since 2006, and involved over 400 skaters from across the province ranging in age from six years to adult.
